Engineers for a Sustainable Development (I2D in french).

I2D is a "law 1901" association, created in 2006, which aims at intervening for the Sustainable Development, within the Ecole des Mines of Albi.

For that purpose, it helps you (the students) to carry out projects in the domains of Sustainable Development (social, environmental protection, humanitarianism), in partnership with the Emac sustainable Development committee and the REFEDD (an association network).

Some examples of projects which we lead :
  • Social : help of the food bank of Albi, during its weekend of collection in supermarkets...
  • Environment : competition of energy "non-overconsumption" in the student residences, projection of committed films followed by debates, exhibition of photos to make the students aware, the integration of an sustainable approach in the associatibe events of the school life...
  • Humanitarianism : organization of "fair trade days", participation to a solar ovens project for Rwanda (in partnership with Mr FALEMPE and High Scholls)...
