Registration
Information below concerns students registered in the engineer formation at the EMAC. For the students received within the framework of exchanges (international mobility - Erasmus between schools- GEM...) please contact:

Tuition fees
All the students registered in the engineering formation at the school must discharge a tuition fee whose amount is fixed each year by the ministry of supervision (Ministry in charge of industry) and published at the "journal officiel de la République Francaise"). For the school year 2010-2011, this fee was fixed to 800 euros.
Social security cover
The affiliation to the student security cover is compulsory, except for particular cases as for the 16 years age. For the students, this affiliation must be carried out at the time of the registration, via the school, at the centre of your choice LMDE or VITTAVI. For the academic year 2009/2010, the amount of the contribution to the student social security was 200 euros. A complementary mutual cans usefully supplement this cover. A civil liability and individual accident insurances (with at least a death disability) are also compulsory.

Grants
The schools of the mines are higher educational establishments placed under the supervision of the ministry in charge of industry. For this reason, students cannot claim financial help from the CROUS.
However, the students registered in the initial formation of engineer can solicit, by making a request, a grant of social matter, allotted by the school on the same basis of criterion of the National education higher education.
Collection of forms near the Service support-élèves DE/SE : inscription-eleves@mines-albi.fr
Deposit the forms at the Service support-élèves DE/SE, office 2A49, before the third Monday of September. This grant is subject of two payments, one in December, the second towards the end of the 1st quarter.
According to families, complementary assistances can be obtained from various organizations:
-The regional council
-The general council
-town hall-
- work's council
- pension fund
- Complementary health insurance,

-etc.
It is up to the families to make the necessary steps near the organization.
Student card
The student card has many different uses. It allows paying meals on the campus, to pay photocopies and so on...This card is delivered to every student at the time of his arrival at the EMAC. It will be useful for him through the whole period of his schooling at the EMAC. You may load your card at the cafeteria or at the campus restaurant. The students use this card to pay a meal at the campus restaurant or to buy of small coffee with crescent at the cafeteria. It is also used as pass to reach the school when
the gate is closed or to enter the gymnasium (access 24h/24h). It is also essential to make photocopies.
Its most interesting purpose still its use as a discount card in museums cinemas exhibitions...
Health
• Health prevention
All the students at the school must bring with their administrative papers a medical certificate established by their usual doctor, and going back to less than one month. In the case of particular inaptitude, it could be accompanied of a mail under confidential fold addressed to the doctor of prevention of the school. Furthermore, all the students integrating for the 1st time the EMAC will be convened for a medical examination, within the framework of preventive actions set up by the school. For this examination, students must carry with them their health record, medical antecedents, vaccinations dates. This visit is compulsory.
• In urgency cases
A nurse ensures permanence at the school two afternoons per week.

• School rules
At the time of the registration, each student receives the scholar rules and intern rules. He must attest to have taken knowledge and to respect the content of it on his arrival at the EMAC.
• Participation of the students in the authorities of the school.
During his schooling, the student in engineering is asked to elect his representatives within the decision-making and consultative instances of the school :
- Board of directors
- Disciplinary board
- Committee of teaching
