French engineering program
The engineering program is mostly taught in French. A proficient level is required to apply. Mines Albi propose intensive French courses during the summer highly recommended for all students.
A global approach
Through multidisciplinary teaching, Mines Albi student engineers from strategic prior reflection to managing major programs.
Alternating between practical and theorical scientific teaching and an extensive coverage of social, cultural, economic and management issues. The program ends with a 6 months paid internship. Students receive their first job less than a month after graduation.
The international awareness is an integral part of engineer training at Mines Albi offering the students two foreign languages part of the training (among 7 proposed) as well as a compulsory international experience by internship or exchange program.
3 years to become an engineer
The first two- years (L3 and M1) programs are focused on the achievement of basic scientific knowledge and on general engineering courses.
You start specialization in the last part of M1 year. The last year of the master is devoted to developing a speciality based on your skills and interests. You benefit from the expertise of the researchers and the cutting-edge advances of the research centers in Mines Albi.
Organization of the curriculum
1st year (L3)
The first year aims to build the scientific and technic bases and to discover the professional possibilities in the engineering world and industry skills.
A 4 weeks internship is compulsory.
2nd year (M1)
Training in the second year focusses on consolidate the scientific, technic and economic bases.
A 4 months internship as an engineer assistant .
3rd year (M2)
The first semester aims to deep one of the 4 options proposed.
The second semester is dedicated to a 6 months internship as an engineer.
